What to expect from your inspection.
Wave Home Inspection provides professional and quality service for all your home inspection needs. Our certified inspectors follow CAHPI’s Standards of Practice and will walk you through the home, teaching you and discussing any major issues and deferred maintenance items. The inspection results will be detailed in an easy-to-read report with images, delivered in HTML and/or PDF format.
What's Inspected?
Wave Home Inspection thoroughly inspects and reports on the following:
Appliances
Dishwasher, garbage disposal, range hood, range or oven, cooktop, microwave, trash compactor, bathroom exhaust fans, garage door operator, and other built-in appliances.
Electrical Systems
Service entrance and panels, branch circuits, connected devices and fixtures, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and making sure your outlets are GFCI-protected.
Plumbing
Fixtures and faucets, water supply systems, drain, waste and vent systems, water heater, vents, flues and chimneys, and any sump pumps or fuel storage and distribution systems.
Structural Systems
Foundations, grading & drainage, basements, walkways, and floor, wall and ceiling structures.
Roofing
Roof coverings, drainage systems, flashings and skylights, chimneys and other roof penetrations.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems
Heating and cooling equipment, ducts, vents and flues.
What a Home Inspection is Not
Technically Comprehensive
We don't disassemble systems.
See-Through Vision
While thermal imaging allows us to perform some level of analysis, unfortunately it doesn't provide visibility into the internal components, walls, or insulation of systems.
Cosmetic Issues
A comprehensive catalog of all the minor imperfections in a house.
